Helen Lay

Associate Financial Controller

Born in Zambia, Helen grew up in Northumberland before graduating in archaeology and anthropology from the University of Cambridge and qualifying as a CIMA accountant in 1995.  She joined Ryder in 2019 having previously worked in management accountant roles for several large companies followed by two years of volunteering as a finance manager for a medical charity in Kampala, Uganda.  Now back in her native Northumberland, Helen regularly enjoys long walks in the countryside.  She also enjoys baking, which goes down a treat in the finance team!
