Steven Ford

Steven began working in the Glasgow office in 2006 before moving to Newcastle in 2014. He studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, graduating in 2009. Steven worked on the recently completed Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary and has a range of experience on education, custodial and office projects. He has extensive knowledge on the use of BIM, recently developing a methodology for modelling pre cast elements for direct use in manufacturing and assembly. Steven was a member of the Ryder Million Makers team who successfully raised over £10,000 for the Prince’s Trust by developing an ale inspired by the home of Ryder’s headquarters – Cooper’s Studios. He regularly plays football, cycles, hill walks and is currently training for his fourth half marathon, targeting a sub 1:30 time.
